Your assistant — by email

Could you use an assistant?

Przydałby Ci się pomocnik?

Good news: you don't have to hire anyone.

You get an assistant with its own email address — bob@uff. Send it the work you hate: a contract, a thread, a spreadsheet, a question. It does the work and replies in the same thread.

01What if

What if you could just forward it?

No briefing, no new tool, no explaining yourself. You forward the email, close the laptop, and the answer is waiting in the same thread.

inbox — new message

Fwd: Supplier agreement — what am I signing?

Forwarded a 40-page agreement. No instructions, no questions.

Read it. Three things to decide before you sign:

  • It renews automatically for 24 months unless you cancel 90 days ahead.
  • Liability is capped at 3 months of fees.
  • Payment terms move from 30 to 45 days in year two.

Full breakdown attached. Want me to compare it with last year's version?

That is the whole workflow. Nothing to open, nothing to configure.

02Because

You don't need another app. You need someone to do it.

Every new tool asks for another login, another tab, another notification. You already have an interface that works, and you have used it for twenty years: your email client.

> three moves, that's the whole app

[ To: ] Do the work. Write or forward, get an answer back.
[ CC / BCC: ] Just remember. It reads quietly and never replies.
[ Reply: ] Keep going. Follow-ups stay in full context.

No app. No chat window. No dashboard. No notification you have to keep up with.

03Meet your new colleague

It has an address, a memory and three modes.

One assistant, one memory, nothing to learn. Add a mode to the address with a + when you need more depth or receipts.

Everyday work

Summaries, drafts, invoices, admin, quick research.

bob+researcher@uff

Deep research

More time, more sources, more detail — for the hard questions.

bob+sources@uff

With citations

Every answer comes with sources you can check yourself.

Memory

It remembers — and links what it learns.

Every finished task leaves something behind: a person, a company, a document, a date. Your assistant files them into a graph of relations, so the next question already has an answer.

  • You never explain twice. It already knows who your client is, what the contract says, and when it renews.

  • Context you never wrote down. Ask a question a year later and it still has the thread, the file and the date.

  • Yours to erase. One sentence — „forget everything about the launch” — and that branch of the graph is gone.

04Privacy

We don't read what you don't send.

Building an assistant that reads everything on your computer is easy. Respecting your privacy is the hard part — so that is the one we did. It sees what you send, forward or copy it on, and nothing else.

bob@uff Separate memory · not shared · not used for training
  • Private by design. One address, one assistant, one memory. Your address works only for you — it is not a shared bot.

  • Only what you send. It reads the messages you write, forward, or copy it on. Everything else stays untouched and unread.

  • Isolated, never for training. Every memory is separate, including team addresses. Your messages are never used to train models.

  • Deletion in one line. Write "forget everything about the launch" and it is gone.

05What to hand over

The things you would rather not do yourself.

At work and off the clock. Every line is a real email you can send today.

work.txt
  • Read this contract and tell me what matters. Risks, dates, auto-renewal — in three bullets
  • Compare these three offers. One table: price, terms, hidden costs
  • Summarize this thread before my 2pm call. Decision, open items, who does what
  • Log this invoice and remind me before it is due. Filed, dated, reminder set
  • Research this market and send me the notes. With sources, in your language
  • Draft a reply in my tone. Ready to send, context kept

Anything you would put in an email.

If you can write it down, you can hand it over. Start with one thing — the boring one.

  • Watch this subscription and warn me 3 days before it renews. Renewal date, amount, and a heads-up in time
  • Check what changed in this privacy policy and summarize it. What actually changed, in plain language
  • Remember the events and amounts in this insurance policy — I will ask later what is covered. Terms stored, ready for your questions
  • Watch the price of these shoes — sklep.example.com/buty-45 Checked in the background, email only on a drop
  • Pick me a film for tonight — surprise me with a good crime story. Three picks, each with a reason
  • Draft a rental agreement for my flat. A ready draft, with the clauses people forget
  • Remind me once a month to order a SodaStream cylinder. A recurring nudge, on schedule
  • Once a year, remind me about the car inspection and the tyre service. Two annual reminders, before you remember
  • Read this PDF and summarize everything it says about Gen Z. A structured summary with the numbers and quotes

It answers in your language and converts every time to your timezone.

06Before you ask

Some things happen while you sleep.

Set it up once by email. Then it is off your mind.

WATCH

A price, a page, an availability.

It checks on its own and writes only when the condition is met.

> "Tell me when the price drops below 1,200."
REMEMBER

A deadline, a renewal, a follow-up.

A reminder before the date, not after it.

> "The contract renews in March — remind me two weeks before."
REPEAT

A briefing, a summary, a report.

The same report, on schedule, in your inbox.

> "Every Friday at 8:00 — my week in five bullets."

07Why not self-host it?

Like running your own agent on a VPS — except you didn't have to.

You could install an open-source assistant like OpenClaw, wire up an inbox, buy API keys and keep the machine alive. Or you could just email yours.

Self-hosted
  • A server, keys, updates and uptime to babysit
  • An evening of setup, then more evenings of maintenance
  • API bills you can't predict

08Questions

Questions people ask first.

Do I need to install anything?

No. If you can send an email, you can use it. There is no app, no dashboard, no plugin and no server for you to keep alive.

Why not just use a chat assistant?

You can. But then you go to it, paste things in, and explain the context again every time. Here the work comes to you — and your assistant already has the context, the documents and the thread.

Do I need a new email address?

No. You keep your address. Your assistant simply gets its own separate one.

Can it read my whole inbox?

No. It only sees the messages you send, forward, or copy it on — nothing else is read.

Does it work in Polish?

Yes. It answers in your language and converts every time to your timezone.

What happens to my data?

It is stored separately for your assistant, isolated from other accounts, and never used for training. You can delete anything by email.

How do I cancel?

Reply to any email and ask. No forms, no phone calls. Everything is archived for 30 days, then deleted — with a full export on request.

Is there a usage limit?

The flat price covers normal everyday use. If your work regularly needs far more, we agree on individual terms before anything changes.
